306 ruck club
Every Sunday at 1:00pm, we are going to meet at a pre-determined spot and go on a community ruck. We have miles of beautiful trails around the city and what better way to eplore than with some great people.
What is “Rucking”
Rucking is the practice of walking or hiking with a weighted backpack. Rucking provides an all-in-one workout that targets multiple muscle groups and improves cardiovascular health, all while being gentle on the joints. Carrying weight while walking requires stability and core engagement, making it a great option for those looking to increase strength and endurance without the strain of high-impact exercise.
who can join?
Anyone! If you are a current 306 member or just want to come check out our community and have a group to go ruck with, you are more than welcome.
We will meet on Sundays and take different trails throughout the city.
We will post our meeting place on Fridays so that you will know where we will be meeting. Unless it is unsafe to be outside, we will be there. Please ensure you have proper footwear, clothing, water and snacks for the walk. We will aim to be done by 3:00pm back at the starting point.
