Learning to lift safely and effectively
Our teen learn to lift program was created to help teens build strength and confidence through proper lifting mechanics. The program runs for 90 minutes twice per week for three months. In the program, teens will learn the importance of quality movement as they perform squats, presses, and eventually graduate to more dynamic lifts like the snatch and clean and jerk. The teens will also use movements such as push ups, sit-ups, box jumps, and plank holds, to build strong body awareness. If the athletes are ready they can even participate in some fun local meets in November and December.
Classes will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The program is 3 months long and runs from Sept 16th until Dec 18th.
You must between the ages of 12-16.
The cost to register your child is $449, with no obligation to continue. The program is capped at 10 lifters to ensure a high quality teaching environment.
