Our depth shines through!

Week two of the Open is now in the books.  306 is one point out of second place and improved on last week's finish and moved up to fourth.  This is the first year since we started competing in the Open that our team was able to improve in our standings following the chest to bar WOD.  That is absolutely incredible and it was a combination of efforts.  Marc Morris has been programming strict pull ups for all athletes that regularly attend power lifting, I've programmed a strict pull up progression since Jan 1, plus you!  YOU, the members of 306 that come in and push hard everyday single day trying to better yoursleves.

This last WOD exemplified the depth of 306, with our scores coming from different athletes then 14.1.  Rochelle Wempe, Maddi Webb, and Joel Baryluk all scored for 306 this past week.  Also contributing to the team score was Aaron Parker and Viki who followed up their strong week 1 perfromances with another impressive showing in week 2.

Though the team score is taken from the top 3 male and female performances in any given week, it takes a huge team effort to get a competitive score.  Most people will push a little harder if they have a number to chase.  So regardless of who you are, every score is important in contributing to our final total.  Hence we have seen our scores always improve from Friday to Monday.

Finally I'm so impress with all of you, doing a pull up is huge feat, getting a chest to bar pull up is crazy.  Outside of CF asked yourself how many people you know can actually accomplish this.  Tap ourself on the shoulder you are all stars!
