Cleanse group - last week!

Well cleansers, it is your last week and you have all done amazingly well.  It is the home stretch and then you will be transitioning into paleo/zone.  I know that it can be challenging, so I do recommend stretching your calories over the day.  Try to always have vegetables cut and washed in the fridge, so when you need a snack, it is ready.  When you feel the munchies grab some raw veggies to cut the craving.  If you want something sweet - try frozen fruit.  You can buy a big bag at the grocery store or buy a bag of grapes and throw them in the freezer.  They are a super sweet treat - my kids love them too.  

For your shakes, after you have completed the cleanse, try adding these items to them:

vanilla/chocolate almond milk
vanilla/chocolate coconut milk
cinnamon
flavor extracts, such as coconut, vanilla, lemon, or almond
pumpkin
frozen fruit
cocoa powder
almond butter

Play with the ingredients and just be sure to count the calories in the items.  The base shake with water is 250 calories, so you can go from there.  You can try 1/2 c chocolate almond milk, 1/2 c water, 1 tbsp almond butter, and 1 tsp cocoa powder, chocolate shake powder and a splash of vanilla extract add ice and blend together.  it is like a Reece peanut butter cup;).  Feel free to try during your cleanse time as well, just count the extra calories towards your daily total.
