NO EXCUSE - 1$ a day for the month of January

 

Did you know that the #1 New Year's Resolution EVERY year has something to do with diet and exercise?  Some want to lose weight or change body composition, some want to start working out again to get fitter or stronger.  The truth is, life gets in the way (or we think it does) and so our good intentions that are laid out in January and are gone by February.  We may have dropped our gym attendance, stopped meal planning, stopped setting ourselves up for success.  I do understand that life is busy - I own a gym and I have to schedule my workouts or they won't happen.  The truth is, you have to make it a priority and plan for it every day.  

Jason and I actually found CrossFit as a solution to each of us getting to workout.  We added jobs, a business, and 3 kids to our mix and we were running out of hours in the day.  We had less time to socialize, eat, sleep, you name it, it seemed to be a challenge to get done.  Then we found CrossFit and it filled a number of needs for us.  We became part of an awesome community.  We made friends.  We had a support group.  In that one hour that we could carve out, we got to see friends, get a great workout in, and get stronger, fitter, and healthier with each WOD.  I do CrossFit to be better at life.

I have been asked a lot about CrossFit and I have probably heard every excuse as to why someone CAN'T do it.  "I work too much", "My kids keep me too busy", "I am not fit enough", "I don't like to exercise", "CrossFit is way too intense"...etc..

Here's another truth, like it or not you HAVE to exercise everyday in order to stay healthy.  You have to use your body so that it will work for you into your old age.  So, we decided for the month of January to take the excuses away.
