On Saturday 306 hosted an Olympic lifting meet. 306 had 4 competing athletes, who combined for an incredible 7 Provincial records!
Congratulations to Jeff Woo for winning the 62kg weight class and tying the clean and jerk provincial record in the process.
Rob Lovelace was edged out of the gold by 1 kilo, but hit a personal best 300lbs clean and jerk.
Kaley Pugh established all three Masters records in the 35-40 year old age group and took home a bronze against all other lifters in her weight class.
Coach broke all three provincial Master records, and topped it off with taking the all time clean and jerk record in the 77kg weight class enroute to claiming the gold and posting the top Sinclair ( weight lifted/body weight) across all lifters on the day.
A huge thanks to Jac Pennock, Mike Letendre, Kent Brown, Lana Price-Wright, and all other volunteers who helped us throughout the day. Loving 306!
