Construction Update

As you know, the intersection at 64th and Millar Avenue is closed, effective today.  We are told that this closure will last for 2 weeks.  It is an inconvenience for sure, however for just a short time.  The alternative routes are to take Idywyld to 71st, up to Millar Avenue and take 66th to Mitchelmore Avenue.  You can also take Warman Road to 71st.

Upcoming Events, Sask Open Oly Meet

Hey 306,

CF Flux in Regina is hosting an Oly competition on Saturday Sept 29.  I would love to take a bunch of us down and represent 306 as good as we did at the last Oly meet.  Last Oly meet we won three weight classes and posted 3 Provincial Records.  What can we do this time?  Here is the link to register.  Registration is free, you only pay when you weigh in.  Come join the fun.  Here is the registration link.

Bonjour from Paris!

Here's a little update from two of our members, Janelle and Brad, currently touring Europe.

"Hi coach!  Janelle and I have been walking lots, and trying to do travel WODS in our tiny European apartments.  Today we visited Crossfit Louvre (you'd have more luck with their website as it's written in French!)  Their box will not be open untill Sept but they do drop ins, (we tried some ring dips and pull ups, box jumps and med balls.  They did a 70 min outdoor wod near the Louve (surreal).  About 35 people there, and we represented Canada / 306 by both finishing in the top 6 - not that we are competitive...  it was 5 rds of 400 m run and 50 airsquats.  Then we "cooled off" with 50 burpees.  Glad to be doing Crossfit again, the folks here are welcoming but we miss you guys!  Going back Mon, squeezing it in between a Versailles bike tour and wine tasting excursions.  Promise to run around Louvre museum and gardens tomorrow!!  See you in a few weeks."

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!

We will be closed on Sunday, July 01st and Monday, July 02nd for the Canada Day long weekend.  If you will be traveling, be safe!  We will be back to training at 7am on Tuesday, July 03rd.  Remember, the lake can be a super fun place to do a travel WOD.  It can even be a great opportunity to WOD with family and friends that haven't tried crossfit before.  Whatever your plans are, have a great weekend and an amazing long weekend:)!

Saturday's Festivities!

This Saturday we will be running our first donation Wod for Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
